Add USB ports and card reader to desktop computer with USB 3.0 speed and convenient front access. Easily fits inside a 3.5" or 5.25" Open Bay. All USB 3.0 peripherals need to be connected to a computer that supports USB 3.0 in order to achieve USB 3.0 speeds. If this hub is connected to the USB 2.0 port of a computer, it will work completely fine, but just not at USB 3.0 speeds. Device needs to be connected to a USB3.0 port/card for optimum performance, but will work through USB2.0 at reduced speeds. Check the plugs are inserted correctly and make sure the USB cable is connected to the card.
