eSATA 6Gb/s Port Multiplier to 5 SATAIII Bridge Boad Panel Mount-able
With mature PHY and PM protocols, DATOptic introduce a NEW, and Improved 6Gb/s SATAIII Port Multiplier, the S3PMS3P is a 1 to 5 SATAIII Port Multiplier (PM) bridge to take full advantage of 6Gbps host link bandwidth. It supports command base, FIS-based switching host controllers by bundling together data from SATAII, SATAIII device ports and sending it over the 6Gbps host link. Additionally, the feature-rich S3PMS3P supports any type of SATA Device (Blu-ray Disc, SSD, DVD, DVD-RAM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, Hard Disk).
The S3PMS3P supports host and device link rates of 1.5Gbps, 3Gbps and 6Gbps with auto-negotiation allowing system designers to utilize 6Gbps host links with today's 6Gbps (SATAIII) devices. Additionally, the S3PMS3P contains LED Pin Header connection for SATA Host & 5 devices to indicate connections, active, busy status of host and devices, so at any point end user can see the status of our 6Gb/s Port Multiplier bridge. Coupling with proper host controllers such as DATOptic eS3-PCIe12-U (6Gb), eSATA-PCIe8, eSATA-PCIe21, Marvell 88SE6145, S3PMS3P - SATAIII port multiplier, a high reliable and extremely fast storage can be access in demand, due to hot plug and hot swap are suppoted. S3PMS3P delivers the performance and connectivity required for servers and I/O demanding applications such as CD-ROM servers, Video-On-Demand (digital content and high-definition video), database servers, workstations, high-end desktops, software RAID sub systems, and image systems.
